My Fave Stand Up Comedian (Indonesia)

Before I share the list of my fave comics (standup comedian), I would have to explain the definition of Stand Up Comedy first.

Stand-up comedy is a comic style in which a comedian performs in front of a live audience, usually speaking directly to them. The performer is commonly known as a comic,stand-up comic, stand-up comedian, or simply a stand-up. In stand-up comedy, the comedian usually recites a fast-paced grouping of humorous stories, short jokes called "bits", and one-liners typically called a monologue, routine, or act. Some stand-up comedians use props, music, or magic tricks to enhance their acts. Stand-up comedy is often performed in comedy clubs, bars, nightclubs, neo-burlesque colleges, and theaters. Outside of live performance, stand-up is often distributed commercially via television, DVD, and the internet.

In Indonesia, Stand Up Comedy was started in 2011. This show aired in 2 national TV channel, they are KompasTV and MetroTV. On KompasTV, it is competition show and in this year, it is already 4 seasons. Then, on MetroTV it is just a show and sometimes there is a battle of comic.
Okay, back to the main topic, here the list of my fave comics :

 1. Raditya Dika (@radityadika)

  Dika Angkasaputra Moerwani or a.k.a Raditya Dika (born in Jakarta, December 28, 1984) is an Indonesian writer, producer, director and stand-up comedian. He ever participate Stand Up Comedy Show on Kompas TV as a host, and the next season as a jury. He is also a producer, writer, and director of a TV comedy serial called "Malam Minggu Miko" that airs in the same channel, currently in its second season.

He also wrote and starred as the main character in Cinta Brontosaurus (2013), Manusia Setengah Salmon (2013), and Marmut Merah Jambu (2014) based on the same titled books he wrote.

2.Pandji Pragiwaksono

Pandji Pragiwaksono Wongsoyudo (born in Singapura, June 18, 1979) is a broadcaster, TV presenter, writer, rap singer and stand up comedian in Indonesia.

He is one of the Stand Up Comedy Indonesia.

3. Ryan Adriandhy

Ryan Adriandhy (born in Jakarta, June 15, 1990) is a multitalented young man that knowed after he got the first place in Stand Up Comedy Indonesia show season 1 in 2011. Well, the reason why I called him a multitalented young man is beside he could be a great personal comedian, he also can illustrate (for his gallery : http://adriandhy.deviantart.com/gallery/), singing (he ever had a group music), immitating movie character's voices (for example, he can imitates Morgan Freeman voice, you can listen to it at https://soundcloud.com/ryan-adriandhy) and acting (he also join in mockumentary series "Malam Minggu Miko" with Raditya Dika). I think after this post, I will post his full profile.

 4. Ernest Prakasa 

Ernest Prakarsa (born in January 29, 1982) is a singer, MC, writer, entrepreneur and a stand-up comedian who known after he got the third place in Stand Up Comedy Indonesia show season 1 in 2011, competed with Ryan Adriandhy. He is also known as a Chinese-Indonesian comedian that often used his ethnic life as his show's topic.
